WAYB’s 2021 Resolution

With 2020 in the rearview mirror, WAYB is ready and excited for the path ahead in 2021. As we begin the new year, we look for ways we can resolve to be a more responsible company and further our mission to raise the bar on products that are better for people and the planet (way better!). 

Designing innovative, responsibly-made products is core to our DNA as a company -- from Pico’s AstroKnit™ mesh replacing foams and flame retardants found in traditional car seats, to earning our Responsible Wool Sourcing (RWS) Certification to ensure our wool promotes the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. When it came to our Ready to Roam bag line, we intentionally used recycled polyester and nylon in an effort to help combat the global plastic pollution problem. While we’ve always operated our business with the environment in mind, we know there is more to be done. 

This year, WAYB resolves to further our environmental mission in hopes it will make a bigger impact on the world around us. We will be more communicative about our intentions as a company and be humbly transparent about our plans, our goals, and any pitfalls along our path to sustainability. As a family company, we believe that we play a part in protecting the planet for future generations -- for our kids and yours! -- and the world they stand to inherit. That is our resolution, and we invite you to follow along on our journey as we share out more of our environmental initiatives this year.
